City Hall
The City of Fredericton reminds the public of the following hours of operation and other information related to Remembrance Day.
- City Hall and other administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, November 11, 2021.
- There will be no transit service on Thursday, November 11, 2021.
- Regular garbage and recycling collection and fall leaf pickup will occur Thursday, November 11. Routine schedules may not occur, so please set out containers by 7 am.
- The Poppy Flag will fly at City Hall until Friday, November 12 to commemorate Veterans’ Week.
- In addition, the flags at City Hall will be lowered to half-mast on November 10 to commemorate Remembrance Day, in honour of all Canadians who have served their country in time of war.
Please note that due to COVID-19 precautions Remembrance Day ceremonies will proceed but must respect the current Public Health guidelines in place.
