The Fredericton Indoor Pool is wheelchair accessible and offers aquatic courses, swimming lessons, public swims, and more:

• Water slide
• Tarzan rope
• Recreational 25m pool
• 92-degree swirl pool
• Sauna

Killarney Lake Beach is a supervised fresh water sandy beach with access to washrooms and change rooms.

If an unsafe level of E. coli or Enterococci is detected in the lake, a Swim Advisory will be posted at the Lifeguard Station and on the City of Fredericton website and social media.

Water Quality Standards are established by the Guidelines for Canadian Recreational Water Quality available on the Government of Canada website.

The Lifeguards at Killarney Lake Beach use signaling flags to help swimmers identify whether it’s safe to swim.

Red/Yellow Flag: Lifeguards are on duty and swimming is supervised in the buoyed area.

Red Flag: Lifeguards are onsite, but conditions are unsafe for swimming.

No Flag: No lifeguards are on duty and swimming is at your own risk and strongly discouraged.

The Wilmot Splash Pad features:

• Brightly coloured spouts, sprinklers, and a giant bucket
• Shallow water play areas
• Barrier-free access
• Seating and shaded areas
• Onsite washroom
   

• Please walk as splash pad may be slippery
• Roughhousing or unsafe play is prohibited
• Do not climb on any part of play structures
• Footwear is recommended
• No pets allowed with the exception of services animals
• No smoking or alcohol permitted
• Children who are not toilet trained must wear rubber pants or swim diaper
• All children 10 and under but be accompanied by an adult
• In case of emergency please call 911
• To report any damage or concerns please call 460-2230
• Glass, metal objects, soap and all other materials that would create hazardous conditions are not permitted
• In case of electrical storm please vacate the splash pad
• Please clean feet before entering play area
• Swim suits and or appropriate attire must be worn at all times
• Athletic equipment, balls, bats, beach balls, pool noodles, etc. are not permitted
