Fredericton - (N.B.) - On August 31, 2023, the Fredericton Police Force responded to a call on the city’s northside for an individual who was armed and barricaded. A police operation was initiated around 8:05 a.m. and, after six hours, the individual was arrested without incident.
On Friday, September 1, Andrew Jim Roberts, age 39 of Fredericton, appeared in Provincial Court on charges of uttering threats, assault and several weapons related offences. He was remanded until his next scheduled court appearance on Monday, September 18, 2023.
